Pair of Rare Benches Gustavian Period Sweden
An assembled pair of highly unusual benches made in Sweden during the early part of the Gustavian period - the so-called High Gustavian period, 1775-1800. Details in wooden carved leaves and tassels. Sabre legs. Signed Ephraim Stahl (ES), royal chair maker in Stockholm 1767-1820. One of Sweden's best chair maker during the period.
